VoltVision is looking forward to working with Allied Gold at their Sadiola project in Mali. We are pleased to announce that we will shortly turn on our VV Power solution, digitising their entire high and medium voltage power network. Their current focus is on ‘optimising existing procedures to maximise energy efficiency’, reducing reliance on diesel generation and supporting the move to a solar/grid hybrid. In Allied Gold’s own words, ‘Mining is energy-intensive; [energy consumption] is a significant operational expense and the main source of our GHG emissions.’
VVPower will deliver end-to-end energy and power quality monitoring, helping operations teams to reduce their power costs, consumption and emissions by up to 10%. In addition, our ViViD platform will automate all meter readings, management reporting and Scope 1 and 2 emissions reporting.
