We are pleased to announce Resolute Mining have signed an agreement to install VoltVision’s ‘VV Power’ and ‘VV Net Zero’ solutions at their world class Syama Gold Mine in Mali. VoltVision will digitise the entire high and medium voltage power network, providing them with an end-to-end power monitoring capability and establishing an accurate and auditable power profile. With access to VoltVision’s high resolution data Resolute will;
• be better able to maximise operational efficiencies to improve production while reducing costs and emissions
• definitively establish a power consumption baseline for on-going NetZero reporting
Resolute has made a strong commitment to placing sustainability at the centre of their ‘core purpose and values’, being a responsible user of power. In response to this Resolute has commissioned the world’s most advanced mining automation system at Syama, which will improve long term efficiencies, as well as a power station to reduce both power generation costs and GHG emissions. We are delighted to be able to support Resolute on their journey to becoming more sustainable and are pleased to be working alongside them to help them make immediate power efficiencies that will contribute to reducing their emissions.
